A place we particularly like, which is nestled between several artist workshops and just a few steps away from the Flèche d’Or, the temple of the European Pop Rock scene. Conceived by the Trigano family (co-founders of the Club Med) and the philosopher Cyril Aouizerate, Mama Shelter has been designed by Philippe Starck. So, what will you find at “Mama” as the Parisian people call it? A restaurant, a large bar, a brasserie and its several terraces for private use where you will see American poets, Japanese painters or writers from Latin America… and also 170 rooms ultra design, equipped with IMacs and bedding of a 5 stars hotel. And for the aficionados of this place, there are some good news : Mama Shelter opened a new place last April in Marseille and is planning to open in Istanbul in November, in Bordeaux by the end of the year, then in Lyon in January 2013 and in Los Angeles during 2014!
