A tasty passage in the heart of Oslo

Folketeater/Operapassasjen OsloSome pictures from one of our favorite places in the center of Oslo, The Opera Passage (“Operapassasjen”), which is located in an Art Deco-inspired building designed by the architects Morgenstierne & Eide in 1926. This is where was the former Norwegian Opera House before being recently transformed into a music and theater scene (“Folketeater”). And what used to be a somehow austere passage, alongside the old Opera’s entrance, has now become a very charming venue with a few bars and restaurants (tapas, enoteca, etc.) as well as a great design hotel, a grocery store, a fish shop…

Le passage de l’Opéra (“Operapassasjen”), est situé dans un bâtiment d’inspiration Art Déco conçu par les architectes Morgenstierne & Eide en 1926. C’est là que se trouvait l’ancien Opéra d’Oslo avant d’être récemment transformé en salle de spectacles (“Folketeater”). Et ce qui était autrefois un passage un peu austère, est désormais devenu un lieu charmant accueillant en son sein plusieurs bars et restaurants (tapas, enoteca, etc.), ainsi qu’un bel hôtel design, une épicerie, une poissonnerie. ..
